Located about 1 km away from Anathagiri village. The Anathagiri nature camp gives a rich experience
and enthralls the visitors seeing the natural forests as well as Coffee plants raised by APFDC. The
visitors find it very comfortable to stay in the eco-friendly cottages and the dormitory developed by
APFDC. Nature walk, the bird watching and other activities such as Camp fire, Watching wildlife movies
and to the experience of nature camping activity.
The APFDC has developed Eco nature camp huts (A/c Cottages ) with attached washrooms for the comfortable stay of nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts and other visitors . Further, a 5 bedded Non A/C dormitory with separate common washrooms for the use of visitors stay and comfort.

The following is the tariff prescribed for stay in the cottages and dormitory in the ANATHAGIRI Nature Camp
Cottages
1. During week days (Monday to Thursday), the rental charges of Rs.2,000/- plus Taxes, as applicable.
2. During weekends (Friday to Sunday), extra 10% over the rent of week days plus Taxes, as applicable.
3. Rent for extra single bed (more than 8 years child or extra person), is Rs.500/- plus Taxes, as applicable.
Dormitory
1. During week days (Monday to Friday), the rental charges of Rs.500/- per person/bed plus Taxes, as applicable.
2. During weekends (Saturday & Sunday), extra 10% over the rent of week days plus Taxes, as applicable.

4. All requests for cancellation of confirmed booking have to be received through
email or in writing if booked at our office in Anathagiri Nature Camp at Anathagiri
5. 50% of the tariff will be returned after 5-10 working days, if cancelled before 5 days before check in
date/time.
6. No refund if cancelled less than 5 days before check in date/time.
7. No postponement / Preponement is permitted.

- The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a mattress as an extra bed.
- 2 persons will be allowed for one room and Rs.500/- + GST will be charged for week days, weekends will be charged 600/- + GST for each extra person, maximum room limit is three persons

- Management will not responsible for loss of personal belongings.

- Please take care of your belongings. Management will not be responsible for any loss/damage of your belongings.
- The guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the Anathagiri Nature camps property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible.
- Parents and guardians are personally and legally responsible for their children at all times.
- Please do not leave children unattended in guest rooms or anywhere on Eco Tourism property.
- Room Booking is not Transferable.
- There will be no refund for any unforeseen calamities which may occur during the event.

- The Visitors are requested to maintain cordial relationship andto behave responsibly at the ANATHAGIRI NATURE CAMPHuts.
- Co-operate with ANATHAGIRI Nature Camp staff/management for better service.
- In case of any dispute, the decision of the Divisional Manager is final.

(i). Guests must be requested to maintain a queue with 2 m (6 ft) distance between them. Standing space signs will be placed on the floor to maintain social distancing.
(ii). Rooms should be kept ready as soon as possible to avoid any crowd at the reception and maintain minimum contact with the guest.
(iii). Details of the guest (Travel history, medical condition etc) along with ID and Self declaration form must be provided by the guest at the reception (for now)
(iv). Arogyasetu app survey will be recommended to all guests. (e-pass preferably use once info released by GoI)
(v). Interaction at reception with guests should be avoided as much as possible.
(vi). Hand Sanitizers must be kept at the reception for guests to use. Guests to sanitize hands before & after filling relevant forms including A&D register.
(vii). Proper records of any symptom such as cough/cold/fever should be maintained
(viii). Self-reporting forms must be filled for International guests and A&D register must be thoroughly maintained.
(ix). Guests should be briefed about the do’s & don’ts while at the hotel.

Ananthagiri nature camp is located at Anathagiri village at distance of 90 Km from Visakhapatnam, 60 Km from Vijayanagaram , 410 Km from Vijayawada and 681 Km from Hyderabad. Araku valley Popularly Known as Araku is scenic hill station in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. Often referred to as Andhra Ooty, it is one of the most famous places to experience Andhra Pradesh tourism.

The nearest major Broad Gauge railway station is Visakhapatnam Railway station, almost all express and passenger trains halt at Visakhapatnam. The nearest railway station is Borra caves only one train available at Visakhapatnam to kirandul

Attractions near Ananthagiri and Araku:
APFDC Coffee Plantations – The place at Araku Valley for coffee lovers Anathagiri-Sunkarametta is popular for its coffee plantations. The lush green Ananthagiri Coffee Plantations are on the hill slopes on the way to Araku valley-Borra Caves and one can learn a lot about the coffee plantation. Local people sell coffee, local coffee powder and Bamboo Chicken near the plantation area by the side of the road.
The Borra Caves:
Also called BorraGuhalu, are located on the East Coast of India, in the Ananthagiri hills of the Araku Valley (with hill ranges' elevation varying from 800 to 1,300 m (2,600 to 4,300 ft)) of the Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh. The caves, one of the largest in the country, at an elevation of about 705 m (2,313 ft), distinctly exhibit a variety of speleothems ranging in size and irregularly shaped stalactites and stalagmites.The caves are basically karstic limestone structures extending to a depth of 80 m (260 ft), and are considered the deepest caves in India.
Thatiguda Waterfalls:
From Ananthagiri market you have to take a left turn to enter into village road which will pass through two villages and ends at waterfall which is at a distance of 2 KM from the main road if you are staying at Anatagiri resort you can go for a walk and reach the waterfall. Walking through the local villages is another attraction of visiting this waterfall. From Ananthagiri you
can walk this 2 KM to reach the waterfall.
Katiki Waterfalls:
Katiki Falls originates from River Gosthani about 90 kilometres from Visakhapatnam. The waterfall is located near the Borra Caves and is a famous attraction for picnickers and nature lovers. The natural landscape surrounding the waterfall is lush green and goes through an uneven path that adds an element of adventure to the visitors trekking their way to the waterfall. It is, therefore, an ideal attraction for beginner to intermediate level trekkers. There are several food kiosks on the way that serve snacks and beverages especially Bamboo Chicken and fresh Coconut Water. Taking a pit stop for a bite before proceeding won't be disappointing.
The cool breeze, the greenery and the soothing sounds of the Katiki Waterfall will take off all the worries in one's mind. The 50 feet high natural formation is a breathtaking sight from a distance. Do take a moment to listen to the birds singing their tunes as you sit in solitude or soak your feet into the cold river water. Those who wish to enter the waters can do so to enjoy some exciting moments with family and friends. Monsoons, in particular, are extremely beautiful with the natural vegetation thriving in the region. Katiki Falls is the place to be for those who wish to rejuvenate their souls.
Tribal Museum
At a distance of 200 m from Araku Bus Station, Araku Tribal Museum is a wonderful place which explores the tribal culture of Eastern Ghats. It is one of the top tourist places to visit in Araku Valley. The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation established this museum in 1996. Araku Valley boasts of 19 tribes that live in the vicinity of the town. The purpose of the museum is to create awareness about tribal culture and lifestyle. Araku Tribal Museum is not a historical place but offers information about the tribes that currently live here. Araku Tribal Museum is spread over two levels, built with mud and real metals to portray tribal life. The museum has been designed to showcase tribal lifestyle in motion, starting with a kitchen that displays utensils made of iron and mud. A series of 10 photographs capturing the wedding ceremony of the tribal is very interesting at the entrance. The passages within the museum that connect various sections are constructed of mud .....
Padmapuram Gardens
At a distance of 2.5 km from Araku Bus Station, Padmapuram Gardens is a popular botanical garden situated in Araku. It is one of the well-known places of sightseeing in Araku Valley. The garden was built in 1942 on a 26-acre plot to supply vegetables to the soldiers who fought in World War II. After the War, it was converted into a Horticultural Nursery cum Training Center where orchards, rare species of flowers and trees, tree houses and stone sculptures greet the eye.A pleasurable way of seeing the gardens is to get on to the Araku Express toy train, popular with visitors to the gardens. Along with the toy train, the garden also contains tree top huts, which can be booked by the tourists. These tree huts, also known as hanging cottages, are ten feet above the ground level. It is a thrilling experience to stay in a hanging cottage and one can experience a rare swing as the tree sways to a heavy breeze. A beautiful rose garden and exotic varieties of plants form the chief.
Ranajilleda Water falls
At a distance of about 3 km from Padmapuram Gardens and 6 km from Araku Bus station, Araku Waterfalls, also known as Ranajilleda falls is lovely and little known waterfalls situated near Ranajilleda Village near Araku.
At a height of over 60 feet, Araku Waterfalls is one of the best waterfalls in Araku Valley. Named after Ranajilleda village, this falls is located on mountain peak and about 10-15 minutes trekking is required to reach the falls from nearest motorable road.
To reach the falls, one has to drive straight from Padmapuram Gardens till Ranajilleda village from
where the falls can be reached by trekking the summit. Best time to visit these falls is the post monsoon
season
Chaparai Water Cascade
At a distance of 13 km from Araku Bus Stand, Chaaparai is a beautiful water cascade situated on Paderu - Araku Road in Vishakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. Also known as Dumbriguda Waterfalls, it is a scenic place surrounded by forests and is one of the popular Araku Tourist Places.
Chaparai Waterfalls is a popular tourist attraction, with its endless streams that cut across big rock formations of Araku Valley. The area around the waterfalls has become a popular site for picnicking, owing to the presence of the beautiful stream flowing through wide rock formations. Smooth slanting rocks interrupt the stream, making a huge natural water slide. This waterfall is highly attractive and allures lots of tourists. This waterfall is one of the preferred locations for Telugu filmmakers.
One can experience the beauty of water gushing through natural rocks. Bathing is well possible when the water flow is not really heavy. It is recommended not to enter into the water in monsoon....
Coffee Museum
One of the places to visit in Araku Valley is the Coffee Museum. In 1930, a migrant by name PrakashRao had set up a catering service for tourists to highlight the uniqueness of the Arabica Coffee. In 1954, he started a Coffee house, which catered to foreign delegates and coffee traders. However, it is now open to all.
The museum manned by educated tribal staff showcase a series of pictures detailing the origin and
history of coffee. They market 60 varieties of coffees and an array of 600 coffee-chocolates. Visitors
can satiate their hunger and appease their craving by indulging in delicacies such as chocolates, sandwiches, brownies, mousses, tarts, etc. and savor stimulating coffees.
