Located about 10 KMs away from Suryalanka Beach, the Suryalanka Nature Camp gives a rich experience and enthrals the visitors seeing the natural forests as well as Miyawaki High Density Forest raised by APFDC and its Cashew estates surrounding the Nature Camp.  The visitors find it very comfortable to stay in the eco-friendly cottages and the dormitory developed by APFDC and the food and local cuisine provided in its cafeteria. With the nature adventure, Nature walk, the bird watching and Beach Safari activities in the area,i addition to other activities such as Camp fire, Watching wildlife movies and to the experience of nature camping activity.

The APFDC has developed Eco-friendly Nature Camp Huts (A/C cottages) with attached washrooms for the comfortable stay of Nature lovers and Wildlife enthusiasts and other visitors. Further, a 6 bedded A/C dormitory with separate common washrooms for the use of visitors stay and comfort.

(i). Guests must be requested to maintain a queue with 2 m (6 ft) distance between them. Standing space signs will be placed on the floor to maintain social distancing.

(ii). Rooms should be kept ready as soon as possible to avoid any crowd at the reception and maintain minimum contact with the guest.

(iii). Details of the guest (Travel history, medical condition etc) along with ID and Self declaration form must be provided by the guest at the reception (for now)

(iv). Arogyasetu app survey will be recommended to all guests. (e-pass preferably use once info released by GoI)

(v). Interaction at reception with guests should be avoided as much as possible.

(vi). Hand Sanitizers must be kept at the reception for guests to use. Guests to sanitize hands before & after filling relevant forms including A&D register.

(vii). Proper records of any symptom such as cough/cold/fever should be maintained

(viii). Self-reporting forms must be filled for International guests and A&D register must be thoroughly maintained.

(ix). Guests should be briefed about the do’s & don’ts while at the hotel.

• The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a mattress as an extra bed.
• 2 persons will be allowed for one room and Rs.896/- will be charged for week days, weekends will be charged 986/- each extra  person, maximum room limit is three persons.

• Management will not responsible for lose of personal belongings.

• Please take care of your belongings. Management will not be responsible for any loss/damage of your belongings.
• The guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the Surya lanka Nature camps property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible.
• Parents and guardians are personally and legally responsible for children at all times.
• Please do not leave children unattended in guest rooms or anywhere on resort property.

• There will be no refund for any unforeseen calamities which may occur during the event.

The following is the tariff prescribed for stay in the cottages and dormitory in the Suryalanka Nature Camp:

• Cottages:  

1. During week days (Monday to Thursday), the rental charges of Rs.2915/- plus Taxes, as applicable.
2. During weekends (Friday to Sunday), extra 10% over the rent of week days plus Taxes, as applicable.
3. Rent for extra single bed (more than 8 years child or extra person), is Rs.810/- plus Taxes, as applicable.

• Dormitory:

1. During week days (Monday to Thursday), the rental charges of Rs.891/- per person/bed plus Taxes, as applicable.
2. During weekends (Friday to Sunday), extra 10% over the rent of week days plus Taxes, as applicable.

• Complimentary breakfast for the occupant/s will be offered.

1. For group booking of the dormitory (consisting of six persons/six beds) the rental charge of Rs.4300/- plus Taxes, as applicable for the entire dormitory.

• Beach & Jungle Safari :

1. Beach & Jungle Safari using Safari Jeep pickup and drop (02 hours) from Suryalanka Nature Camp to beach @ Rs.250/- per single person.(@ Rs.100/- per child aged 8-13 years).

   way to Suryalanka Beach and about 1 km from the famous Suryalana Beach. Bapatla town
   has rail and road connectivity.

1. The nearest major Broad Gauge railway station is Bapatla on Vijayawada – Chennai
   Railway line and almost all express and passenger trains halt at Bapatla. Bapatla
   Railway station is about 10 km in the North East direction from the Ecotourism Site.

• Road:

1. Bapatla is the nearest town to the Nature and Environmental education and Eco-Tourism centre.
   Bapatla is well connected by National Highway and State Highway from Guntur, Chirala,

Miyawaki Forest:

Andhra Pradesh Forest Development Corporation has raised a novel High Density Miyawaki Forest.Miyawaki Forest is a unique way of technique of raising high density forest with local and indigenous tree species. This technique is pioneered by Japanese agro-botanist Akira Miyawaki. The approach is to ensure that plant growth is 10 times faster and the resulting plantation is 30 times denser than the conventional plantation / forest. It involves planting  native species in High Density in the same area and becomes maintenance-free after three years. Using this method, APFDC is planting tall seedlings in the Eco-tourism centre. Trees and climbers are also being grown in the total area to enhance aesthetic beauty of eco-tourism site by using suitable climbers and tree species to blend the infrastructure built with natural environment. A beautiful eco-friendly natural  camping area and eco restaurant are part of Nature Interpretation centre .With all the above, the Suryalanka Nature Camp area is certainly a great  natural attraction to the visitors.
